Care and Maintenance

Once you have had your surface renovated and prepared with our specially designed Resin coating it is important that you do not walk on your paving until it has thoroughly set, at least 3 hours for foot traffic and 48 hours for vehicles.

Stains

Should you have a spillage of oil or grease we recommend that you clean this up before it is scorched under the sun or trodden into the surface.

To remove stains of all descriptions use a normal household washing up detergent scrubbed well into the stain and thoroughly rinse off with plenty of water. You may need to repeat this, depending on how long the stain is left untreated.

General Cleaning

Now that the surface is sealed and protected to clean your Driveway or Patio we suggest you use a standard domestic cleaning detergent (do not use caustic based detergents) a broom and water from a bucket or hose. You should find jet washing unnecessary.

Guarantee

At Paving Doctor we use only the best quality tried and tested products and dependant on the traffic and use to which the paving is put the resin could last for several years.

In line with industry Standards we offer a 12 months guarantee against defective materials and workmanship.

Regular Maintenance

Resin compound is a particularly durable and hard wearing material. However everything wears over time the volume of traffic and conditions affecting this timescale.

For example: If you have a Driveway with three cars or heavier vehicles, regularly moving on and off the drive, in an area with gritted roads and decorative shingle in the garden borders, thus bringing in grit and dirt on the tyres. This constant use and added abrasives on the Drive would wear it out much sooner than a Drive with one car, moving off once a day, in an area with gritless roads and grass borders.

Yearly maintenance Inspection

We can offer you a Yearly Inspection. This would be Free of Charge and would involve us giving you a report on what, if any, work we think may be needed in order to renew your Guarantee for another year. This could mean nothing at all needs doing, a touch up in certain areas or a full Maintenance resin coat over the whole surface.

If work needs to be carried out all you will pay for is the time spent on site over and above the first hour and any products we use.

The first hour on site is included in the inspection fee and so the labour may be covered in the inspection fee.

For this we ask you for a small yearly charge that should ensure you have no large restoration costs in the future and allows you to renew your Guarantee year after year.

Now that's what the Doctor ordered !
